The kitchen focuses on Arabic and Syrian cuisine. A restaurant and migrant project in one. But don’t worry – this is not a dusty third world shop and no one has to discuss the federal government’s refugee policy here. The restaurant is stylish, flooded with light and has plenty of charming staff.
The menu is a little overwhelming at first – because it is so large. Out of curiosity, I order two dumplings as a starter. They are called Sambusek and are filled with either lamb or spinach (2.20 euros each). My main course is called Fete al-Magdous (15.90 euros). This is a baby eggplant filled with minced lamb and yogurt sauce. The latter is prepared without garlic at my request.
Everything tastes great! We’ll definitely be back.
