LAWRENCE's Story
Since its opening, LAWRENCE in Berlin Mitte has had an impressive success story. With the opening of the cultural forum in August 2017, which includes a gallery, event spaces, a shop, and a large oriental restaurant, LAWRENCE quickly became a popular place for cultural exchange.

A Place of Encounter
The unique combination of art and cuisine has since attracted a diverse crowd of guests. Visitors include national and international politicians from the government district, young and established academics from nearby universities, media celebrities, and well-known city personalities. Neighbors from the urban center of the capital, Berlin tourists, and visitors to the nearby Museum Island or the numerous theaters in the area also appreciate LAWRENCE.

The LAWRENCE funun GALLERY showcases a variety of changing exhibitions, featuring art and artists from the Middle East. The gallery spaces on the first floor provide a fitting setting for all types of events: from private birthday parties to company Christmas celebrations, from conferences and meetings to panel discussions with renowned politicians, scientists, and artists.

Culinary Experience
At LAWRENCE, 25 employees in the kitchen, service, and management take care of the guests' well-being every day. Most of them come from the Near or Middle East and ensure a highly praised menu that sets new trends and is often copied. The culinary experience is complemented by selected wines and other delightful beverages from the regions that LAWRENCE represents as a cultural and culinary ambassador.
